The Transportation Intermediary Association (TIA) held its Fall Meeting in San Antonio in November in conjunction with the TransComp sponsored by the National Industrial Transportation League and the Intermodal Expo presented by the Intermodal Association of North America.

Keynote addresses were presented by trucking industry executive Jerry Moyes, Chairman, President and CEO of Swift and Gene Krantz, lead flight director at NASA mission control.

TIA education sessions covered trade-driver transportation requirements, transportationpolicy, multimodal optimization, best practices, contracting issues, domestic security OSRA, the Ocean Shipping Reform Act, maximum customer satisfaction, strategic sourcing and accessorial charges. An Issues Forum was held for members of TIA, NITL and IANA.
